Celebrity Golf Classic
Through the generous support of sponsors and participants, the Archie Griffin Celebrity Golf Classic raised over $1.2 million during its ten-year run. The funds were donated to organizations that benefitted the local at-risk youth.
Concession Charities is now working diligently to provide new fundraisers that benefit local youth. For example, The Concession Golf Club is the venue for a new event, benefitting The First Tee of Sarasota-Manatee, that will be held late 2022.
As we continue to support the Manatee-Sarasota communities through a variety of fundraisers, we appreciate the past support of our members and sponsors, and look forward to future events where we can help make a difference in the community that we proudly call home.
Concession Cup
The biennial event brings together the finest Mid-Am and Senior amateur golfers from the United States and Great Britain and Ireland for a Walker Cup style competition. Charities which benefit from the Concession Cup include the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation, The First Tee of Tampa, the Paul and Toni Azinger Compassion Center, Rainbows and the Amateur Golf Alliance. The United States has defeated the Great Britain and Ireland team in all three meetings, including the most recent one in April 2018. See ConcessionCup.com for further details.
